Howard Silk (Oscar®-winner J.K. Simmons) is a lowly cog in the bureaucratic machinery of a Berlin-based United Nations spy agency. When Howard discovers that his organization safeguards the secret of a crossing into a parallel dimension, he is thrust into a shadow world of intrigue, danger, and double cross…
Starz has released a featurette in which series creator Justin Marks, Simmons and Nicholas Pinnock talk about the show.
Counterpart premieres on Starz on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 (9/8C). The network will sneak peak the series premiere following the third season finale of Outlander.
After a long hiatus and five episodes filled with monumental (and sometimes heartrending twist), Claire and Jamie will – at long last – be reunited.
The sixth episode of Outlander’s third season, A. Malcolm, Claire and Jamie are finally together again – but, of course, there are obstacles to be overcome.
Beginning at 5pm(4C), October 15th, Starz will marathon the first five episodes of season three – then, on October 22nd (8/7C), the supersized sixth episode of Outlander will reunite its lovers. Check out the teaser below.
The third season of Outlander will premiere in September, 2017. Not only that, but the series is moving production from Scotland to South Africa.
Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have posted a video on the show’s Facebook page bidding Scotland a fond farewell, though, as they note, Outlander will return in the future.
Carmi Zlotnik, President of Programming for Starz addressed the later premiere, “While ‘Droughtlander’ will last just a little longer, we feel it is important to allow the production the time and number of episodes needed to tell the story of the ‘Voyager’ book in its entirety. The scale of this book is immense, and we owe the fans the very best show. Returning in September will make that possible.”
César Domboy (The Walk) has been cast as the now adult Fergus and Lauren Lyle has been cast as one of Laoghaire’s daughters, Marsali, in the currently filming third season of Starz’s hit series Outlander.
