VIZ Media has acquired the rights to Castlevania: Season 1 for home media. Inspired by the classic video game and written by Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan, Planetary), the Frederator Studios produced series follows the last of the disgraced Belmont clan, as he tries to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes.
