Pitch Perfect Trailer: Girlboss!

That’s Sophia Amoruso explaining what she does to a potential investor.

Amoruso began selling vintage clothes and built the multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal, by the time she was 27.

Netflix’s Girlboss, from Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon, is inspired by the book #Girlboss by Amoruso and stars Britt Robertson in the lead role.

Girlboss premieres on Friday, April 21st.

Netflix to Launch Girlboss in April!

Netflix’s new series Girlboss is based the book by Sophia Amoruso, who created a fashion empire from a beginning selling vintage clothing on eBay – leading to the creation of the Nasty Gal brand.

The series stars Britt Robertson and its executive producers include Amoruso and charlize Theron. The release date video follows the break.

A Dog’s Purpose Is Heartwarming Hokum!

Based on a novel by W. Bruce Cameron (who co-wrote the script), A Dog’s Purpose is at least a three-hankie film. Heartstrings are plucked and the story of a reincarnating dog comes full circle for an old-fashioned Hollywood happy ending – and despite being hokum, it works beautifully.

It’s just a shame that the trailers contain a lot of the film’s most important moments – including one of the big ones in the final moments.
