Barbara Sukova (left), Todd Stashwick and Emily Hampshire (right) have been promoted to regular status on Syfy’s hit series 12 Monkeys.
Sukova plays time technology creator Dr. Jones; Stashwick is Deacon, leader of a vicious gang of Scavengers, and Hampshire is Jennifer Goines, the mentally unstable key to the 12 Monkeys conspiracy and the fate of the world.
12 Monkeys begins production on season two on July 14th in Toronto. The 13-episode second season will premiere on Syfy in Winter 2016.
Syfy will host six panels at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2015 – including two exclusive screenings for Dominion and new, epic series, The Expanse (followed by a panel with the show’s executive producers and cast – moderated by the writer of the novels).
Other panels will include: Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (writer, director, cast), Childhood’s End (screenwriter and stars), 12 Monkeys (executive producers and cast) and Z Nation (executive producer, writer-producer and cast).

I love Terry Gilliam’s movies but, somehow, I’d never seen 12 Monkeys until about eight weeks ago. Once I did, I had a bad feeling about Syfy’s adaptation (Fridays, 9/8C) – a feeling that wasn’t totally dispersed by the first two episodes on the screener that the network sent, but enough so that I’m looking forward to the next five episodes on a second screener set that arrived a couple days ago.
