Every year the denizens of the Mobile World converge on Barcelona, Spain for a week of confabbing about the state of the Mobile World. This year’s event promises to be huge with Mobile 7 being unveiled today and Android continuing to make moves. More and more of our lives will be based on our ability to go mobile. Unfortunately the cost of attending this event was redonkulous (tics for a trip to Barcelona last week was $900, this week $3,500) so I’m going to sit here in cold DC and cover the show from the comfort of my couch. I’ll bring you daily re-caps and any other neat Product Announcements in our Cool Tech Section, you can also follow the week’s coverage by clicking the Mobile World Congress link in our side bar. I know a lot of you don’t give a rats butt about tech and mobile, but the future of Entertainment is all going to mobile and tech based, after 20 years of talking about it the convergence is finally happening, whether we want it to or not. If you want up to the minute coverage, I’ll once again recommend you go to Engadget.com.
