ABC is going big (and weird) for 2016-17. The network has picked up eight new shows (so far – the bloodletting may not yet be over) that encompass post-Shakespeare; imaginary friends; a woman’s life through the eyes of her dog; a re-imagining of H.G. Wells vs. The Ripper in the present movie Time After Time; a party girl daughter of an ex-president being blackmailed into doing the right thing; a series based on the true life stories of a TV producer and a criminal defense lawyer, and a family with a special needs kid (which is my personal favorite teaser).
The only sad thing about these teasers is that they’re not the 2-4-minute jobs of a year ago. They’re all in the 12-15 second range. But still, you can get the idea, so check ’em out after the break.
