The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and THE TALK today announced that the daytime talk show will exclusively reveal the “42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards” nominations live on Tuesday, March 31 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT) on the CBS Television Network.
NATAS will release the full nominations list immediately following the program online at www.emmyonline.org/daytime.
Encores of this special episode of THE TALK will air on Pop on Tuesday, March 31 (8:00 PM and 11:00 PM, ET/PT) featuring the nominations of the Daytime Emmy Awards. The “42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards” ceremony airs live exclusively on Pop on Sunday, April 26 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).
THE TALK will continue the celebration following the Daytime Emmys with its fourth annual “After Party,” honoring some of the night’s biggest winners on Monday, April 27. Guest names to be announced following the Daytime Emmy Awards early Monday morning, April 27.
CBS’s Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK, broadcast weekdays (2:00 PM, ET/1:00 PM, PT/CT), features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
