One of the all-time great animated series of all time is coming back – Hulu is bringing back Animaniacs. New episodes will premiere in 2020.

The series will be a Hulu/Amblin Television/Warner Bros. Animation co-production with Steven Spielberg as an executive producer.

The deal to bring Animaniacs also brings the complete libraries of Animaniacs and Tiny Toons to Hulu.

Turner and Warner Bros. Partner On Premium Animation Service Boomerang!

Bugs & Daffy; Scooby-Do & Jonny Quest; Tom & Jerry and The Jetsons – these are just a few of the titles hat will be available from Boomerang, a new premium streaming service that Turner and Warner Bros. will launch in the spring.

Boomerang will stream the massive Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes and MGM animation libraries – more than 5,000 titles.

Initially, the ad-free Boomerang will launch on Web, iOS and Android devices for 4.99/mo. (with a 7-day free trial), or 39.99 annually (with a 30-day free trial). The service will expand to more platforms after launch.

Comic-Con 2016: First Look: Justice League Action!


A sizzle real for Justice League Action was shown at Comic-Con 2016 this morning. It’s a kinetic, quick-witted, nimble minute-and-a-half featuring Batman, superman, Wonder Woman, Firestorm and giving glimpses of Vixen and Zatanna (among others).

Villains Joker, Mr. Freeze, Brainiac and more also make impressive appearances. JLA look like it will be a lot of fun. Check out the trailer after the break.

Cartoon Network Takes Action with Justice League Series!


The world’s greatest superheroes are returning to Cartoon Network in a brand new, quarter-hour series called Justice League Action – Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will a rotating cast of DC superheroes against an array of famous villains including Lex Luthor and the Joker.

Justice League Action marks the return of Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) to the role of Batman. Other familiar voices will include Mark Hamill (The Joker), James Woods (Lex Luthor) and Diedrich Bader as the irrepressible Booster Gold.
