The story of how Elena Cañero-Reed grows up to become President of the United States will continue. Disney+ has ordered a 10-episode second season of the Gina Rodriguez-produced series (Rodriguez also recurs as the future president).
Told from the narration of her diary, Diary of a Future President – a 10-episodeseries – follows Elena, a Cuban-American 12-year-old girl as she navigates the ups and downs of middle school and begins her journey to become the future president of the United States. Diary of a Future President premieres on Friday, January 17th.
