Star Power Marks ABC’s Return to Comic-Con 2014!


ABC is pulling out the big guns for Comic-Con 2014. Creatives and stars of four ABC series – Once Upon a Time (July 26th), Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (July 25th), Resurrection (July 25th) and Agent Carter (July 25th) – and new holiday special, Toy Story That Time Forgot (July 24th), will be appearing to tease, talk up and otherwise tantalize their productions.

Some of the stars in attendance include Resurrection’s Omar Epps, Kurtwood Smith, Frances fisher and Devin Kelly; S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Clark Gregg, Min-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge; Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell; and Once Upon a time’s Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donaghue and Jared Gilmore.

Creatives attending include: Toy Story That Time Forgot’s producer Galyn Susman (Toy Story OF TERROR) director Steve Purcell (Brave) and Head of Story Derek Thompson (WALL•E); S.H.I.E.L.D.’s executive producers Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tanchaeron and Jeffrey Bell; Agent Carter’s EPs Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Christopher Markus and Louis D’Esposito; Resurrection’s executive producers Aaron Zelman, Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas; and Once Upon a Time’s executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. ABC Announces Fall 2014-15 Lineup!


For fall of the 2014-15 season, ABC has added six new shows: Selfie, Manhattan Love Story, Forever, Black-ish, How to Get Away with Murder and Cristela – three half-hour comedies and three dramas/dramedies. Waiting in the wings for mid-season are: American Crime, Fresh Off the Boat, Galavant, Marvel’s Agent Carter, Secrets and Lies and The Whispers – three dramas, a musical dramedy and two half-hour comedies. Marvel’s Agent Carter and Galavant will serve as bridge series between fall and spring runs of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and Once Upon a Time, respectively.

Some notable shifts among returning shows: Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal each move up an hour on Thursdays with How to Get Away with Murder sliding into the 10 pm slot;  SHIELD moves back an hour, with Selfie and Manhattan Love Story taking over its former timeslot. Agent Carter Short Accompanies Iron Man 3 on Video Release!


While Captain America crashed in Captain America: First Avenger – to reappear decades later – life went on for those whom he’d left behind. In particular, Peggy Carter carried on to help the forerunner of S.H.I.E.L.D. get established. When Iron Man 3 comes to home video (HD Digital and HD Digital 3D on September 3; 3D BD, BD, DVD, Digital Copy, On Demand: September 24, 2013), Agent Carter, once again played by Hayley Atwell, will be the subject of the accompanying Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.
