Anyone else enjoying the WB offering SUPERNATURAL ? I must admit, I usually catch it on the weekend airings. But the handful that I have seen have been quite good. I hope the show makes it beyond season one. Being a WB staple, I am just a little concerned. So what do y’all think ?

“Just Like Heaven”
“Just Like Heaven” is a pleasant fantasy/romantic-comedy about a man who sub-let’s an apartment in San Francisco and finds that the spirit of the young woman who previously occupied the apartment is there. Fairly predictable and nothing new, but good performances, special effects, and direction make this a fine date movie. GRADE = “B”
“The 40 Year Old Virgin”
“The 40 Year Old Virgin” is a sex farce about an action figure collector who is the stock manager at an electronics store. He leads a solitary life until co-workers discover his virginal secret. Prime
Just saw this movie and I thought it was a hoot! Meryl Streep as the typical Jewish mother was a riot! The reviews haven’t been spectacular, but I enjoyed it!
“The Fog”
“The Fog” just barely opened in the #1 slot with both W&G and Elizabethtown just $500K and $1,200K behind. Since this was not screened for critics, expect it to sink like a rock once the reviews and word-of-mouth are out.
“Dreamer”
“Dreamer” is a pleasant ‘PG’ family film about a young girl and a horse. This superficial movie is a starring vehicle for Dakota Fanning with the other actors as mostly window-dressing. Good photography. GRADE = “B-“
