Judging from the intense trailer for NBC’s new drama, Rise, this is not Smash – in fact, it might be significantly to Friday Night Lights.
Rise is the story of seven high school students who are facing crises in their lives and whose lives are impacted by a teacher who wants to make the school’s drama department something special.
