This is my favorite tv show for the last few years! The characters are hilarious and I always look forward to their outfits each show! Definetely a must see for guys AND girls!
Joan Carol Clayton (Tracee Ellis Ross), Maya Denise Wilkes (Golden Brooks), Lynn Ann Searcy (Persia White), Antoinette~aka Toni~Marie Childs-Garrett (Jill Marie Jones) have made Girlfriends a pleasure to watch. The first season had some kinks, but they were worked out in season two. The characters have their issues and strong bonds, which work together to bring them closer to my heart. I tend to favor shows that have women in lead roles, but these ladies have that little something extra that the others just don’t seem to have. It was really sad to have Toni (Jill) leave at the end of season six…and hoped she would return, but I loved seasons seven and eight. Perhaps they will go to the big screen too. Hmmm….
