Lucasfilm has released fourteen images from Star Wars: The Last Jedi and they are as tantalizing as the first look photos for The Force Awakens.
Rey (Daisy Ridley), standing alone, on the edge of the ocean; a barren desert (followed by the same shot except for the spacecraft that may be about to land/crash on it; land vehicles speeding across the sand like something out of Mad Max; Finn (John Boyega) either dead or in suspended animation; Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaacs) running down a ship’s corridor; the Millennium Falcon firing on… something; a burning city; a space armada (then the same space armada with one of its ships burning), and, finally, standing in the entrance to a cave, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).
Each photo is isolated – no context at all – and that’s what makes them so intriguing. How do they all connect within the framework of the film? (Double click to embiggen)
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens on December 15th.
