I had a chance to catch a stripped down WWE event at The Patriot Center a few weeks ago with my Bro and it was a blast. Now the big mamma jamma is coming. WWE’s march towards Wrestlemania hits DC’s Verizon Center, March 31st. This is the last Monday Night Raw before the year’s biggest wrestling event so you know stuff is going to go down! Witness the return of Washington’s own six-time World Champion “The Animal” Batista at Monday Night RAW presented by WWE.
You know one of my newest celebrity “friends,” is former WWE Superstar Adam “Edge” Copeland. Shared drinks and interviewed him several times. Considering he’s always played the heel, he is one of the nicest guys in the world, but he never let me forget that I went completely mental on him the first time I met him. In my defense I wasn’t expecting to see him and his farewell speech on RAW the week before made me cry. Now I’m like all “hey, ‘sup?” What does this story have to do with anything? Nothing, just bragging. Anyhoo, WWE comes back (say it like The Rock) to the Patriot Center, January 5th for a 5:00 pm show.
