Fox Searchlight, has released a new featurette for Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs. This behind the scenes look shows how a unique team of 25 animators and 10 assistants brought Wes Anderson’s vision to life.

Isle of Dogs premieres in select theaters on Friday, March 23rd!

Isle of Dogs Video Features Stop-Motion Cast Interviews!

Fox Searchlight has released a unique video of cast interviews for Isle of Dogs.

Imagined and directed by Wes Anderson, it features the actors speaking through their stop-motion animated characters.

Isle of Dogs opens on March 23rd.

Wes Anderson Does Christmas On a Train for H&M!

Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel) has done another one of his unique commercials – this time for H&M.

Adrien Brody stars as Conductor Ralph, who has to inform his passengers that inclement weather and technical difficulties elsewhere on the line have made the train eleven hours late – scotching their plans for Christmas.

H&M to the rescue – in a peculiar and perfectly Andersonian manner. All commercials should be this good. Check it out after the break.

2015 BAFTAs: Boyhood Best Picture; Grand Hotel Budapest Most Awards!

Richard Linklater’s Boyhood took Best Film at the 2015 BAFTA Awards today. Linklater also won for Best Director and Patricia Arquette garnered the Best Supporting Actress Award.

Eddie Redmayne got the Best Actor award for The Theory of Everything; Still Alice’s Julianne Moore was named Best Actress and Whiplash’s J.K. Simmons got Best supporting Actor.

The Grand Hotel Budapest  led in total awards with five – Original Screenplay, Costume Design, Production Design, Makeup & Hair and Original Music.

The LEGO Movie (which wasn’t even nominated for the Oscar) won Best animated Feature. A complete list of winners follow the jump.

MOVIE REVIEW: Fantastic Mr. Fox – Fabulous Fake Fur Fun!

Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox is one of the best films of the year!

Adapted from – and expanded upon – Roald Dahl’s excellent book, Fox is an original. An organic delight from start to finish. The story of a slightly egocentric fox [he has a trademark!] who gives up stealing chickens and squabs for the somewhat less exciting life of a newspaper columnist when his wife tells him she’s pregnant is an odd mix of civility and ferocity.
