“Batman: Year One” coming to DVD & Blu-Ray

Today Warner Premiere has released the trailer for their upcoming animated film, Batman: Year One. This animated feature brings to life the comic book version that was written back in 1987 by Frank Miller and artwork by David Mazzucchelli. Personally I’m looking forward to this version of the Batman lore and am interested in what Warner Premiere has come up with. The current cast members are: Ben McKenzie-Batman/Bruce Wayne, Bryan Cranston-Lt. James Gordan, Eliza Dushku-Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Katee Sackhoff-Detective Sarah Essen. There currently is no set release date for Batman: Year One but it’s coming straight to DVD and Blu-Ray. Check out trailer below:

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights trailer!

Warner Premiere and DC Comics brings Green Lantern fans the antincipated trailer to Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. According to IMDB, the story “explores the origins of the Green Lantern Corps, including the first ring wielders” and it’s supposed to include not one but six interlocking stories about six individual green lanterns. Sounds epic doesn’t it? Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is co-directed by Chris Berkeley, Lauren Montgomery, and Jay Oliva. This time instead of Christopher Meloni doing the voice over for Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, the actor doing the voice over for Hal Jordan/Green Lantern is Nathan Fillion who’s most reccent work is playing Richard Castle on the tv sereis Castle. I personally enjoyed Green Lantern: First Flight when it was released in 2009 and I’m looking forward to Emerald Knights. Check out the trailer below and enjoy:
