TV Guide Magazine has come to realize that the Nielsen Ratings doesn’t always give a true picture of which TV shows are fan favorites. That’s why they chose to give the fans a voice in showing their appreciation for their favorites. TV Guide ran a poll, the fans voted and some of the winners are:

Castle, The Big Bang Theory, Dancing with the Stars, Chuck and Supernatural. Congratulations to Jensen Ackles for winning best actor , Misha Collins for winning best Non-Human Character and Timothy Dalton for winning Best Villain.

Check out the video after the jump to see what the stars of all these shows had to say about winning this award.

Supernatural wins TV Guide cover poll!

There were six shows in the running in the online poll that allowed fans to pick the cover for the first time in the magazine’s 57-year history.  But in the end, it was a battle royale between The CW’s SUPERNATURAL and NBC’s CHUCK.  Both sides mobilized their fanbases, voting furiously for what seemed to be endless days; the battle complete with fun, drama and accusations of cheating so that fans could tip the scales in their favor.  But even cramped fingers resulting from entering endless ‘captcha’ codes could not deter these dedicated fans as they voted continuously for twelve grueling days at the end of October.  They have been waiting on pins and needles ever since to see if the fruits of their labor paid off.

As promised by Debra Birnbaum, Editor-in-Chief of TV Guide magazine, the announcement was made today. The news first broke when Ms. Birnbaum unveiled the cover on “The Early Show” this morning.  She stated that after attending Comic-Con the idea of the cover poll contest was inspired by seeing the enthusiasm that fans exhibit for certain shows which may not get huge ratings but have solid ‘cult’ followings.  This passion and dedication is not something that is reflected in the Neilsen numbers, but it was certainly reflected in the 5.5 million votes that came in.  In the end only about twenty thousand votes separated the winner and the runner-up.  Ms. Birnbaum also made the announcement via her Twitter feed confirming that resume information technology specialist https://climbingguidesinstitute.org/7979-relevant-skills-examples-for-resume/ https://www.newburghministry.org/spring/someone-to-write-my-paper/20/ how sat essay is scored follow link http://pejepscothistorical.org/education/college-essay-editing/03/ can use viagra daily follow link college essay application prompts viagra for sale in hong kong enter online pharmacies that accept paypal ieee research paper format enter site english essay https://creativephl.org/pills/cialis100mg/33/ public relations dissertation ideas go to site introductory essay examples here how to write my personal statement https://childrenofthecaribbean.org/plan/sample-resume-highlighting-volunteer-experience/05/ professional analysis essay writer sites au http://www.danhostel.org/papers/phd-thesis-how-many-pages/11/ go example of research paper apa style https://climbingguidesinstitute.org/5715-college-essay-helper/ enter kcl english essay guidelines https://bigsurlandtrust.org/care/azithromycin-fish-medication/20/ how to write a college application essay buy viagra dr fox Supernatural is the winner and providing a sneak peak at the cover that will be hitting newsstands on December 9 featuring the stars of Supernatural, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.  I have a feeling that after these issues fly off the shelf, TV Guide will be asking themselves why they never featured the Winchester brothers on the cover before!  At least for fans, it is a feeling of sweet victory for something they have been begging to see for six years now.  Congratulations Supernatural!  You not only earned it, but certainly deserve it.

Television: Smallville & Supernatural Are Both in the Running for A Cover on TV Guide

SML_SPN_ECARD3

For the first time ever, TV Guide is letting the fans decide which show should be on their cover.

Here’s the good news for fans and viewers of the CW Network’s men of action. If you love Smallville starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow and Supernatural starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester, you don’t have to chose which one to watch. The two hit CW action series air back to back on Friday nights beginning at 8PM EST with Smallville and moving on into 9PM EST with Supernatural.

Here’s the bad news. Only one of them can possibly win the spot on the December 13th cover of TV Guide Magazine and they can only do it if you vote for them. Ah the dilemma of choosing between the Man of Steel and the Green Arrow or the monster hunting, demon fighting brothers Winchester (with the Angel Castiel thrown in for good measure).

Well, there is a little bit more good news.  Both Smallville and Supernatural have been nominated due to their incredible fan bases and both need you to vote now to help one of them win the December 13th cover!  You can vote as often as you like. so please take the time to vote now at the TV Guide cover poll.
