Michael Bay speaks briefly on Transformers 3

MTV had caught up with director/producer Michael Bay to speak with him briefly about Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon. Here is his comment about the story of the film:

“We just have, I think, a better story. It’s epic and it happens in a city, so it’s more accessable because you recognize stuff; it’s not in a desert. It’s kind of like ‘Black Hawk Down’ with our small group of heroes in a city”. Also in terms of bringing the third Transformers movie to life, Michael Bay had this to say: “I think it takes a while to get it right. We did not want the third one to suck. We worked extra hard.” Personally I’m looking forward to the third Transformers installment. You can check out the rest of Michael Bay’s comments with MTV below:

John Malkovich and Frances McDormand are two of the classiest, most talented actors around. And now, thanks to today’s offhand announcement on Michael Bay’s website [https://www.michaelbay.com/newsblog/newsblog.html], we know that they and The Hangover’s Ken Jeong have signed on for Transformers 3.

Pre-shoots on the film begin in about a month.
