Video: Meet The Newsroom’s New Additions!

newsroom 3

One of the interesting things about Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom is that- love it or hate it – it is always fluid: characters come, go, evolve. In season two, there are a number of new characters who are involved in what will be a continuing arc that revolves around a story that goes horribly wrong.

Check out characters played by Marcia Gay Harden (Law & Order: SVU), Hamish Linklater (The Good Wife), Grace Gummer (Zero Hour) and Constance Zimmer (Entourage) after the jump. The Newsroom returns to HBO on Sunday, July 14th.

The-Newsroom

I’m not quite sure what this new teaser for Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom is saying. Is Will McAvoy a journalistic voice in the wilderness? Is the team in the newsroom alone against the world? Are they Alone Together, Naturally? Whatever the case, it is a lovely piece of work as it stands. Alone.

Check it out following the jump. The Newsroom returns to HBO July 14th at 10/9C.

Trailer: Aaon Sorkin’s The Newsroom Will Continue to Polarize Watchers!

People either loved or hated season one of Aaron Sorkin’s The Newroom – for exactly the same things (Sorkin’s use of the past to sermonize; prickly relationships; the detail of the show; the accuracies/inaccuracies of the behind-the scenes/workplace stuff, etc.). When it returns to HBO for a second season on July 14th, it will undoubtedly continue to polarize watchers.

Check out the first full-length Season Two trailer following the jump.

The Newsroom: The More I See The More I Like It!

Aaron Sorkin’s new HBO series, The Newsroom – premiering June 24th, looks to be smart, funny, dramatic and, quite possibly, touching. With each successive trailer, HBO reveals just a bit more of the show’s depth and I am definitely looking forward to seeing if it lives up to those excellent trailers.

The newest trailer is above, but both earlier trailers can be found following the jump. Check them out.
