To those of us who are viewers and fans of Supernatural, actor Chad Lindberg is best known for his recurring guest appearances on the hit CW action series as “Ash”, the charming, lovable mullet-wearing, beer-drinking computer tech.  Besides being a past recurring guest star on the series, Lindberg also frequently attends “SUPERNATURAL” conventions around the world and keeps in touch with his fans on Facebook and Twitter.

Yet there is more to the talented and versatile Chad Lindberg than his history with Supernatural. Yes indeed.

On Monday February 7th at 9:00 p.m. EST Chad Lindberg will be guest starring on the new NBC fantasy action hero series, The Cape. Lindberg will be playing a character named “Hicks” in an episode entitled “Goggles and Hicks” .

A TEAM OF TECH SAVVY ASSASSINS DISCOVERS THE CAPE’S IDENTITY–Badly bruised and exhausted, The Cape (David Lyons) heeds advice from Max (Keith David) to take some time off to recover. Determined to finally kill The Cape, Peter Fleming (James Frain) hires a tech-savvy team, including Goggles (guest star Pruitt Taylor Vince) and Hicks (guest star Chad Lindberg), to track and destroy The Cape. Meanwhile, Orwell (Summer Glau) faces digital challenges against the team’s strong expertise and Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) becomes more involved in uncovering the truth about Vince’s case.

Chad Lindberg does the big screen as well as the small. The actor, who has over 25 film credits to his name, is best known to movie goers as “Jesse” from the hit high octane action film, The Fast and the Furious.  On Tuesday February 8th, Anchor Bay Entertainment will release the unrated grindhouse 2010 remake of the revenge film, I Spit on Your Grave, on Blu-ray™ and DVD. To coincide with this release, Lindberg and the rest of the cast of “I Spit on Your Grave” will attend a 7PM PST autograph signing at Dark Delicacies Bookstore 3512 W. The dramatics that followed the much heralded arrival – and ignominious departure of The Jay Leno show put NBC in a delicate situation. Besides having a host of underperforming regular series to either cancel or shore up, they also had an extra five hours of primetime to fill. So, over a very busy pulot season the network has hunkered down and gotten to work, axing Law & Order and replacing it with Law & Order: Los Angeles and adding five more new series to join Perfect Couples, The Event, Outsourced, Jerry Bruckheimer’s Chase and J.J. Abrams’ Undercovers.

The new series are: LOLA [catchier that L&O:SVU, right?], superhero drama, The Cape; legal oddity, Outlaw [a Supreme Court Justice returns to private practice]; the odd couple legal series, Harry’s Law, and half-hour comedy, Friends with Benefits. Details of the new shows follow the jump.
