HBO Max has acquired exclusive streaming rights to the CBS hit comedy The Big Bang Theory.
CBS has announced the season finale airdates for its slate of primetime programming.
The biggest news here is that The Big Bang Theory will end its 12-season run on Thursday, May 16th.
The Halloween spirit is strong at CBS with special episodes of dramas, comedies, game shows and soaps planned to showcase the season.

CBS has released the season finale dates for its primetime shows – including Elementary and NCIS: Los Angeles (above) – in chronological order beginning with MacGyver on Friday, April 14th and concluding wityh The Amazing Race on Thursday, June 1st.
The salary negotiations are complete and so CBS and Warner Bros. Television have reached a new two-year broadcast agreement for The Big Bang Theory.
The deal will produce forty-eight episodes of the #1 scripted show on television over its 2017-18, 2018-19 seasons.
The Big Bang Theory prequel series based on the life of the young Sheldon Cooper is a go.
CBS has announced that Young Sheldon – starring nine-year old Iain Armitage in the title role – will premiere in the 2017-18 broadcast season. Parsons will narrate as Adult Sheldon.
The series will follow Sheldon living with his family in East Texas.
The series premiere will be directed/executive produced by Jon Favreau.
To celebrate the 200th episode of The Big Bang Theory, Conan O’Brien will welcomes the cast – Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch – to a special edition of CONAN on Wednesday, February 24th (11/10C).
TBBT’s 200th episode will air on CBS on Thursday, February 25th (8/7C), so, no spoilers!
CBS is bringing eight – count ’em, eight series to Comic-Con 2015: Supergirl, Limitless, Zoo, Extant, The Big Bang Theory, Person of Interest, Scorpion and Under The Dome.
William Shatner will also make a special appearance to read excerpts from The Autobiography of James T. Kirk.
Each of the shows will be featured in panels – some with pilot presentations, some with extended trailers, and some will provide other services. The Limitless Cafe will provide free coffee (and refills!), phone-charging station and free Wi-Fi.
A Supergirl themed 12-person pedicab will provide free rides through the Gaslamp district and giveaways of such nifty items as gold Supergirl flash tattoos, adult and children’s-sized caped Supergirl T-shirts, Limitless mint “pill” boxes, THE Late Show with Stephen Colbert-branded Col-Bear gummy bears, and Scorpion comic books.

CBS has revealed the premiere dates for its 2015 Fall Schedule; beginning its fall slate with the kick-off of NFL Thursday Night Football on September 17th.
In a show of confidence for its new superhero series, CBS has moved Supergirl’s premiere up from November to Monday, October 26th following The Big Bang Theory before moving to its regular slot – Mondays (8/7C) on November 2nd.
Other highlights include the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation two-hour finale on Sunday, September 27th (9/8C); the premiere of Limitless on Tuesday, September 22nd (10/9C); and the return of CBS’ Thursday night entertainment lineup – The Big Bang Theory, Life In Pieces, Mom, Angel From Hell and elementary – on November 5th.

CBS’ Hawaii Five-0, CSI: Cyber and Survivor will all get two hour season finales, while new comedy series The Odd Couple will have a one-hour sign-off for its first season.
The network begins the wrap-up o the 2014-15 season with the April 20th first season finale of Scorpion and concludes the season with the May 24th season finale of mid-season series Battle Creek.

Behind The Story with the Paley Center will use footage from The Paley Center for Media’s PaleyFest 2013 and PaleyFest 2014 television festivals to take viewers through the personal stories of these shows’ casts and creators.
