Growing Ratings Spark Three TBS Renewals!

TBS has announced renewals for its hit original series The Guest Boo, People of Earth (pictured) and Wrecked.

All three shows have grown their ratings over the current season.

Morgan Freeman To Receive 2017 SAG Life Achievement Award!

Morgan Freeman is to be honored for his work in film and television, and on stage – as well as work offscreen/offstage – with the 2017 SAG Life Achievement Award.

The award will be presented during the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, televised live by TBS and TNT on Sunday, January 21, 2018 (8/7C).

TBS Unveils Three New Series to Join Returning Search Party!

TBS has announced a renewal of its millennial comedy series Search Party and added three new shows for Fall 2017: The Last O.G., Drop the Mic and Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild.

The Last O.G. finds Tracy Morgan’s ex-con getting out prison and having to with a very different world than the one he left; Drop the Mic – hosted by Method Man and Hailey Baldwin – is based on the rap battle segment from The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild is Snoop Dogg’s update of the classic game – held in his own personal casino.

TNT & TBS Bring Out-of-This-World Experiences To San Diego Comic-Con 2017!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be abducted by aliens? Thanks to TBS, you can find out!

The network’s alien abduction fan experience is only one of the many  out-of-this-world, fan-first experiences, all-star panels, and sneak peeks that TBS and TNT are bringing to San Diego.

The networks will also be bringing stars from People of Earth and The Last Ship for panels and docking a Wrecked pop-up island off the marina behind the San Diego Convention Center.

Conan O’Brien will beshooting CONAN live every night, there wii be a panel dedicated to TBS’ animated shows – American Dad! and three new shows, as well as a sneak peek of season four of The Last Ship.

San Diego Comic-Con 2017 takes place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, during the weekend of July 19 – July 23.

Comic-Con 2017 Guest List for CONAN Unveiled!

CONAN has announced the guest list for its San Diego Comic-Con 2017 shows and – not to name drop or anything – this list includes members of the cast of Netflix’s film Bright (including Will Smith), the Winchester boys from Supernatural, members of the cast of Game of Thrones and more.

CONAN‘s Comic-Con® International shows will be taped at San Diego’s historic Spreckels Theatre on Wednesday, July 19 – Saturday, July 22. Episodes will air that Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (11/10C) on TBS, with availability across TBS and Team Coco’s digital, mobile and VOD platforms the following day.

San Diego Comic-Con 2017 takes place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, during the weekend of July 19 – July 23.

TBS Greenlights Anthology Comedy Miracle Workers, Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Owen Wilson

TBS has greenlit heaven-sent anthology comedy series Miracle Workers starring Daniel Radcliffe and Owen Wilson.

The first season of Miracle Workers will be a Heaven-set workplace comedy based on Rich’s book What in God’s Name. Radcliffe will play Craig, a low level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers and Owen Wilson will play Craig’s boss, God, who has pretty much checked out to focus on his favorite hobbies. To prevent Earth’s destruction, Craig must achieve his most impossible miracle to date.

Heaven Sent will launch is 2018.

TBS and Super Deluxe To Launch 90-Minute Interactive Late Night Block!

TBS and Super Deluxe are developing an interactive late block of programming to further engage the mobile-first generation.

TBS plans to launch the weekly 90-minute block this fall with a comedy lineup that ranges in tone from dark humor to Generation Z ennui. It will be divided into quarter-hours, each comprised of scripted series, culturally relevant docu-series and unconventional creative voices from diverse backgrounds.

Projects include a series about two would-be art thieves, a buddy comedy about a guy guy and his sex doll, and a contemporary take on Soul Train.
