The second episode of Survivor’s Remorse’s second season set a new high for the show so Starz has ordered a third season.
This week’s episode of the series – about a basketball phenom who brings his family and friends with him as he moves of the ‘hood and finds that pro money can lead to pro problems – grew 18% over season one.
Starz is offering early online looks at two of its comedy series – Survivor’s Remorse and Blunt Talk.
The second season premiere of Survivor’s Remorse is now streaming exclusively on Executive Producer LeBron James’ Facebook page, while the series premiere of Blunt Talk is being streamed on star Patrick Stewart’s Facebook page.
As well, Starz is streaming season one of Survivor’s Remorse and the first two episodes of Blunt Talk on multiple platforms.

Blunt Talk, about an expatriate Brit talk show host who thinks he’s in America to share his wisdom and wit – but is mostly misguided on all levels – premieres at 9/8C.
Survivor’s Remorse, about a basketball phenom who has gotten out of the ‘hood with a big NBA contract and is trying to not forget his roots while attempting to negotiate the many levels of his new life, follows at 9:30/8:30C.
Jessie T. Usher (above left) has landed the role of Cam Calloway in Starz’s half-hour scripted comedy series Survivors’ Remorse – about a a basketball phenom who signs a huge contract with a professional team in Atlanta and has to deal with all the good and bad that comes with sudden, high-profile success.
Ronreaco Lee (center left) will play Cam’s best friend and confidant, Reggie Vaughn; Erica Ash is M-Chuck, Cam’s sister; and Tichina Arnold above right) plays Cam’s mother, Cassie. They join previously cast Teyonah Parris (center right), who nabbed the role of Reggie’s wife, Missy.

Survivor’s Remorse, a comedy set in the world of professional basketball, has been give a six-episode order by Starz. The series – from NBA All-Star LeBron James, Mike O’Malley and Maverick Carter – follows Cam Calloway, ‘a basketball phenom in his early 20’s who is suddenly thrust into the limelight after signing a multi-million dollar contract with a professional basketball team in Atlanta.’

NBA superstar LeBron James, legendary TV producer Tom Werner and Starz are teaming up to produce a half-hour scripted comedy series called Survivor’s Remorse – the complexity of of comedy and drama of making it out of one of the toughest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Mike Malley has signed as writer and executive producer. also involved are business partners Maverick Carter and Paul Wachter.
Cousins Cam Calloway and Reggie Vaughn have, through grit, determination and God-given talent, made it. They are rich and famous and have to deal with all the trappings that come along with their new status – including the guilt of making it and leaving their ‘hood behind.
