Boys – Russell T. Davies drama series about emotional journey of five friends during the 1980s, during the AIDS epidemic – will be streamed in the U.S. exclusively by HBO Max in 2020.
As hard as it is to believe, there was a time when the only Doctor Who Christmas Special was in the form of Doctor Who Annuals – a hardcovered publication that contained games, puzzles, background stoires featuring the Doctor’s greatest foes and, of course a new Doctor Who story (which wasn’t usually set at Christmas).

David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor will take up residence on Disney XD as Doctor Who joins the network’s schedule beginning May 9th.
Disney XD will air seasons 2-4 of the popular reboot of the legendary British sci-fi series. Details follow the jump.
Ever since it was announced that David Tennant’s run as the Tenth Doctor was announced – and that he would only be doing as series of five one-hour specials in lieu of a final full season – it seems like the world’s Whovians have gone into a kind of premature mourning. Given that the five specials were described as being individual adventures that would also provide a throughline up to the Tenth Doctor’s death and regeneration – and that photos of the Eleventh Doctor looked unusually odd – I guess that was not exactly unexpected.
