Acclaimed Drama National Treasure Joins Hulu Slate!

National Treasure- Paul Finchley (Robbie Coltrane) is a bona fide "national treasure", one half of a popular, long-running comedy double act. Hulu has acquired the U.S. streaming rights to National Treasure, a timely drama produced by the UK’s Channel 4.

The four part series centers on ‘national treasure’ Paul Finchley, one half of a popular, long-running comedy act, who is accused of sexual abuse.

National Treasure will debut as a Hulu Original on March 1, 2017. Read on for further details.

Teaser Trailer: Pixar’s Brave

"BRAVE"

HIGHLAND OF THE “BRAVE” -- The rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland serve as the backdrop for “Brave,” a new tale that joins the land’s ancient lore—stories of epic battles and mystical legends passed down for generations. Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, “Brave” is the grand adventure of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage.  The film also features the voices of Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.  “Brave,” full of heart, memorable characters and Pixar’s signature humor, takes aim at theaters on June 22, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

For the first time in its twenty-five year history, Pixar is producing a film with a strong female lead – Brave, due for release on June 22, 2012.

The film, which has an all-star cast, follows the story of Scottish Princess Merida [voiced by Kelly Macdonald], whose decision to forsake her royal heritage to become an archer inadvertently places her father’s kingdom at risk. It’s a bit darker and edgier than Pixar’s usual fare, as you can see in the film’s first teaser trailer following the jump.

When Disney/Pixar sends you concept art from an upcoming film, you pretty much have to take a good look at it. When it comes from a story that takes place in a Celtic region – like the Scottish Highlands, here – and it looks as cool as this, well, you’ve just got to share.
