Bobby Fischer was a chess prodigy who became the youngest grandmaster in the history of the game. Always looking for the best competition – driven to find it, in fact – he publicly and loudly challenged the Soviet Union’s Boris Spassky, the reigning world champion at the height of the Cold War.

What most people didn’t know was that Fischer was fighting another battle – an interior battle that threatened his very sanity. This is what lies at the heart of Pawn Sacrifice. Check out the crazy intense trailer after the jump.
