Kicking-off 2013 with a No. 1 album made history for GRAMMY® winner Chris Tomlin as only the fourth Christian album to ever do so. Following the project’s success, sold-out tour dates, Billboard Music Awards, being named a BMI Songwriter of the Year and receiving the K-LOVE Fan Award for Male Vocalist of the Year, Tomlin unveiled his tenth studio recording, Love Ran Red, inOctober. Tomlin is hitting the road in support of the new album and will be performing live at the Patriot Center on March 21.
(Fairfax, VA, March 2, 2014) Demi Lovato’s Neon Lights Tour was so big and massive that I actually had to split the review in two. Demi has put together a day of girl power reaffirmation that is cleverly disguised as a regular Pop Concert. With the soundcheck party and four opening acts The Neon Lights Tour was literally an all day affair. By the time Demi herself strutted onto the stage a few minutes after 9pm the crowd was panting and shaking the building with screams. The Tweens around me were literally shaking and crying with anticipation. Part One of this Review.
You know one of my newest celebrity “friends,” is former WWE Superstar Adam “Edge” Copeland. Shared drinks and interviewed him several times. Considering he’s always played the heel, he is one of the nicest guys in the world, but he never let me forget that I went completely mental on him the first time I met him. In my defense I wasn’t expecting to see him and his farewell speech on RAW the week before made me cry. Now I’m like all “hey, ‘sup?” What does this story have to do with anything? Nothing, just bragging. Anyhoo, WWE comes back (say it like The Rock) to the Patriot Center, January 5th for a 5:00 pm show.
