Apologetic Featurette: Lemony Snickett’s A Series of Unfortunate Incidents

Attention Readers,

The only thing more regrettable than this show was the making of it. That’s why we must encourage you to not watch the following video which covers mundane production details and features interviews with the cast and crew responsible for creating such tragedy.

A Series of Unfortunate Events is now streaming on Netflix.

We’re very sorry.

Despite their best intentions, Netflix has been unable to keep themselves from foisting a second trailer for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Incidents upon us.

Under no circumstance should you follow the jump to view it. That would be bad. Thank you.

And if you’re still here, please note that you will not want to stream said unpleasant series when Netflix releases it into the wild (where it belongs) on that most unlucky of days, Friday the 13th of January, 2017.

Early Review: Playing It Cool Doesn’t Do That!

Playing It Cool

Told from the point of view of a screenwriter (Chris Evans) who doesn’t believe in love anymore, Playing It Cool wants to be both hip and a screwball romantic comedy and never quite succeeds at being either – though it’s fun watching it try.

Ted is back and getting married – and they wan to have a baby! That means Ted will have to fight for his civil rights.

Jay Ward Lives On–Mr. Peabody & Sherman Trailer Is Awesome!

MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN

DreamWorks animation has released the first trailer for its CG film adaptation of Jay Ward’s Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The adventures of the world’s smartest (and only talking) dog and his boy were a regular part of the Rocky & His Friends animated series that ran from 1959-1961. The trailer shows off the glitzy new version of Mr. Peabody’s greatest invention, The Wayback – a time travel machine that was forever getting Sherman in trouble – a trope that carries on in the movie.

For a hint of the action, adventure, humor and bad puns that lie ahead, check out the trailer after the jump. Mr. Peabody & Sherman opens March 7, 2014.
