Hot on the heels of the sneak peek looks at two of their new fall series, Melrose Place and The Vampire Diaries, The CW Network has released their full fall schedule for the 2009/2010 television season. The CW’s new schedule begins on Tuesday, September 8 with the season premiere of sophomore drama 90210 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), followed by the series premiere of the updated version of Melrose Place (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). As they did once before, 90210 and Melrose Place will combine for a great night of television.

One Tree Hill

May 21, 2009 (New York, New York) ? The CW Network unveiled the schedule for its 2009-2010 season today at a presentation for advertisers, affiliates and national media in the Theater at Madison Square Garden. The announcement was made by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.
“In just three years, The CW has become TV to talk about, with culturally current, quality programming,” said Ostroff. “Next fall, we will have great flow from Monday through Friday, starting with the Monday pairing of ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘One Tree Hill,’ which made The CW one of the top destinations for young women this season. Tuesday night gives us a perfect match with ‘90210’ and ‘Melrose Place.’ And what could be better than our Wednesday night shows from Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher – the all-model lineup of ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and ‘The Beautiful Life.’ On Thursdays, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ taps into the continuing fascination young women have with all things vampire, and makes the perfect lead-in for ‘Supernatural,’ which is coming off its strongest year ever. Moving ‘Smallville’ to Fridays gives us a major player with a loyal fan base to kick off the night. Top all that off with our heartwarming and humorous midseason drama ‘Parental Discretion Advised,’ from writer/producer Liz Tigelaar, and we have a full slate of great programming to keep our viewers watching, chatting, texting and tweeting all next season.”

Don’t forget the season Finale of 24 is tonight. And for those that still care, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill have their finales tonight as well.
24 Promo
I’ll be watching 24 tonight, but I sort of lost interest 4 episodes ago when they went one twist two many with Tony’s reverse heal turn. I actually fell asleep on it the last two weeks. And this season was so awesome up till that point.
Gossip Girl
To bad I don’t have my DVR set up, but I’ll catch this when the DVDs come out.
One Tree Hill
Are they really going to kill off Peyton tonight?

Starting on Monday, May 11th, the folks at the CW Network are getting out their fancy Clothes as two of their hit series get ready to go to the prom and one prepares for a wedding!
The festivities start on Monday May 11th at 8PM EST in a Gossip Girl episode titled, Valley Girl. Blair (Leighton Meester) and Nate (Chace Crawford) attend prom together, but run into interference from Chuck (Ed Westwick) and the evening goes decidedly awry for them. While things are not working out as planned for Blair and Nate, Lily Rhodes has a flashback to the 80s where her seventeen year old self (Brittany Snow) has been kicked out of boarding school and runs away to Los Angeles where she hooks up with her parents, Rick (Andrew McCarthy) and Cece (guest star Cynthia Watros, "Lost"), and sister, Carol (Krysten Ritter). Special musical guest is the 80′s group No Doubt who are appearing in the episode as ‘Snowed Out’ and will be debuting their cover of Adam Ant’s Stand and Deliver.
At 9PM EST, One Tree Hill in an episode titled Forever and Almost Always, Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Lucas’ (Chad Michael Murray) wedding day has finally arrived and surprise guests attend. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) plays an unexpected role in the ceremony while Nathan (James Lafferty) hopes to be called up to the NBA. Skills (Antwon Tanner) keeps Jamie (Jackson Brundage) on a short leash, and Brooke (Sophia Bush) does the same with Nick Lachey (appearing as himself).
On Tuesday May 12th at 9PM EST 90210 is going to the prom as well. In an episode titled Zero Tolerance, Students at West Beverly prepare to go all out for the prom, Annie (Shenae Grimes), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes), Naomi (AnnaLynn McCord), and Silver(Jessica Stroup) set out to get glam up by shopping for the perfect gowns and visiting a famous hair stylist.

It’s the time of the year where the networks and fans gather together in an annual dance of Save our Show-itist. Everyone is stressed and upset at the unsettled nature of everything – is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles gone? What’s going on with Chuck, Reaper, etc. Instead of wasting energy being worried about things we have little control over, let’s appreciate the programs that survived. I thought it’s time to take stock and see what “genre” shows are in no danger of being cancelled. I’ll start by saying for some reason Navy NCIS is still going. Who watches this show?
Cold Case

I’ll start with a show that I could be proven wrong on, but come on Cold Case gets over 10 million viewers a week, this despite the fact that it’s an amazingly hard show to watch. It’s never airs on time due to CBS Football and other sports coverage so it’s almost impossible to DVR. And it will most likely “never” be on DVD due to the incredibly high cost of music licensing so there’s no DVD business. But really, CBS is already invested in the show, what else do they have to put in that horrible “floating” timeslot?
Burn Notice

Burn Notice will be back this summer, I haven’t seen an official announcement from USA Networks, but it had a fantastic year creatively and financially so there’s no way USA is going to kill this goose. Can’t wait for the new season to start, last year’s finale had Michael being completely set free and now he’s in the wild so it’ll be interesting see what they do with that.
