Disney’s Alice Sequel Gets Underway!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Disney’s Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass has gotten underway with an all-star cast (Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Rhys Ifans) under the direction of James Bobin (The Muppets, The Muppets Most Wanted).

This time, the journey to Underland is also a trip back in time. Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass will take us back down the rabbit hole on May 27, 2016. For more details, follow the jump.

Stoker Twists Form – But Slowly!

The Korean director Park Chan-wook has made at least one film – Oldboy, allegedly being remade by Spike Lee – that is generally considered to be a classic. I don’t know if Park’s first film in English, Stoker, will ever approach that film’s critical acclaim, but I have no doubt if it had been shot in Korean, it might well have been (sometimes, subtitles really do make a difference to an audience’s perceptions).
