The cast of Roseanne has had its first table read for Twenty Years to Life – the premiere of ABC’s upcoming event series.
Roseanne will premiere in 2018.
The Conner family is returning to ABC. Network president Channing Dingey made the announcement at ABC’s Upfront presentation this morning.
The original cast (pictured above), headed by Roseanne Barr, will star in an eight-episode reboot. Sarah Chalke, who played Becky for one season, will also appear – in a new role.
The rebooted Roseanne will air sometime in 2018.
HBO’s new series Getting On deals with those who provide extended care for female patients who are, as the series title suggests, getting on. The series regulars include Laurie Metcalfe (Rosanne, The Big Bang Theory), Niecy Nash (Reno 911!, The Soul Man), Alex Borstein (Family Guy, Mad TV) and Mel Rodriguez (Running Wilde, Community).
