Paramount Pictures announced today that on Saturday, December 8th fans at select theatres in the U.S. and Canada will have the opportunity to attend paid early-access screenings for its latest film in the Transformers series, Bumblebee, starring Hailee Steinfeld.
Talk show host Jimmel Kimmel and actor/writer Justin Theroux have sold a unique comedy special to ABC. The “Untitled Kimmel and Theroux Project” will bring viewers classic sitcom scripts from the 70s, 80s and 90s, to be acted out live by today’s biggest names in comedy.
Channing Dungey, ABC’s President of Entertainment, made the announcement at todays Upfront.
The Girl on the Train is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Starring Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux and Rebecca Ferguson, it follows Rachel who, devastated by her recent divorce, finds herself imaging a perfect life for a couple she sees on her daily commute.
When the woman disappears, there seems to be circumstantial evidence that she may have killed the woman and she has to try to find the killer before she winds up in prison.
Based on the novel by Paula Hawkins, The Girl on the Train opens on October 7th. The UK trailer follows the jump.
Judd Apatow may not have directed Wanderlust [that would be David Wain], but his instincts as a producer remain pretty much flawless. Like last year’s Bridesmaids, the trailers for Wanderlust really don’t begin to hint at how funny it really is.
