After a season premiere that cleared 18 million viewers, ABC has renewed Roseanne for an eleventh season.
Following its huge ratings win, ABC has scheduled an encore of the one-hour premiere of Roseanne for Sunday, April 1st.
Production wraps today for ABC’s Roseanne revival – with its one-hour premiere set for Tuesday, March 27th (8:30/7:30C).
The cast of Roseanne has had its first table read for Twenty Years to Life – the premiere of ABC’s upcoming event series.
Roseanne will premiere in 2018.
In the last couple of years Bruce Willis has made about a half-a-dozen films that could be considered B-movies – most of which were fair-to-awful.
Once Upon a Time in Venice – the Blu-ray is in stores now – leans into the better than average zone. It’s a slight bit of noir-ish fun that finds the only licensed detective in Venice Beach trying to get his dog back – which is much harder (and more convoluted than you’d think).
The Conner family is returning to ABC. Network president Channing Dingey made the announcement at ABC’s Upfront presentation this morning.
The original cast (pictured above), headed by Roseanne Barr, will star in an eight-episode reboot. Sarah Chalke, who played Becky for one season, will also appear – in a new role.
The rebooted Roseanne will air sometime in 2018.
Now this is how you start a career as a filmmaker!
For most of its 103 minutes, 10 Cloverfield Lane is set in a doomsday bunker with three characters – and before you know it, BAM! The movie is over and you’re thinking ‘what just happened?’ – in the best possible way.
Aubrey Plaza may not know what she’s getting into, but she’s doing her darnedest to find out. Check out the Super Bowl 50 spot after the break.
Grandma cooper just wants a perfect Christmas but maybe the perfect Christmas is the one where the whole is there and everyone walks away (relatively) healthy when it’s over.
Check out the new trailer for Love The Coopers after the jump. Love The Coopers opens on November 13th.
The Gambler is a remake of the 1974 classic about a man with an addiction to gambling – to the point of endangering his life. In this version, a university professor gets in deep with three very deadly members of the gambling underworld. This version has a unique take on character that, just barely, allows for the possibility of a hopeful (if not necessarily happy) finale.
SNL has announced the hosts and musical guests for its final three episodes of 2013: December 7, Paul Rudd/One direction; December 14 – John Goodman/Kings of Leon; December 21 – Jimmy Fallon/Justin Timberlake. That sounds like a pretty big finish to me.
