Television: NBC’s Chase Gets Shorter As Network Cuts Episode Order from 22 to 18

NBC has decided that Chase doesn’t need to go on for so long this season. Executives at the Peacock Network have changed their mind about giving the series a full 22 episodes. The freshman drama series about a team of U.S. Marshals,  and stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser and Jesse Metcalfe, hasn’t pulled in the expected ratings. Studio insiders from both NBC and Warner Brothers say that the reduction of episodes from 22 to 18 does not mean that Chase has been canceled. It is still considered a full-season order for the series. Chase will be moved to Wednesdays beginning Jan. 12, 2011.

Bruckheimer’s Chase Lives Up To Its Name!

Chase [NBC, Mondays, 10/9C] certainly lives up to its name. The premiere opens with two U.S. Marshals chasing a fugitive – through a herd of cattle being driven through a downtown area as part of a state fair, through an arena and, finally, down a tunnel that splits into two paths. An in-depth look at CHASE

For those who don’t watch a lot of tv and have been missing previews for the fall season on the NBC network, a new series called Chase begins Monday, September 20th. Chase stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser, Jesse Metcalfe, Amaury Nolasco, and Rose Rollins.
According to http://www.nbc.com/chase/about/index.shtml#credits “Chase” is a lightning-fast drama that drops viewers smack into the middle of a game of cat-and-mouse as a team of U.S. Marshals hunts down America’s most dangerous fugitives.” From what I’ve seen in the previews, that’s a great way to sum up the show. The video below features cast members to give their take on “Chase” and to give viewers a better feel for the show. Personally I think “Chase” will be worth watching but I’ll leave that to you (the reader) to decide. Check out the video below and hope you enjoy:
