Scream Queens (FOX, Tuesday 8/7) is almost as funny and as horrific as it thinks it is, but it’s still hugely entertaining as it riffs on horror movies with gleeful abandon and far more blood than we expect on a network show in the middle of primetime. It’s also very, very smart.
FOX’s Scream Queens will makes its two-hour debut on Tuesday, September 22nd (8/7C) before settling into its regular timeslot of Tuesday (9/8C).
One of the show’s most intriguing elements is its opening credits sequence – harkening back to days of actual opening credits with full mention of series regulars against a montage of scenes either from the show, or designed to highlight the show’s style.
Considered super-sized, these days, the opening credits of Scream Queens are a beautifully designed, darkly witty hint at the pleasures/horrors that await within the upcoming episode. Check them out following the jump.
