“Intruders” Season 1 finished with its grand finale on October 11. As a grand hurrah for a show that I followed every Saturday night on BBC America, here is the first of a 2 part recap of my interviews with cast and producers as we remember the first season of BBC America’s summer thriller.
The ruthless killer Richard Shepherd (James Frain) is one of Qui Reverti’s most trusted shepherds. As “Madison” continued to evade Richard, the mysterious shepherd prevailed in silencing threats and securing his own position. James Frain talked with reporters during a roundtable to chat about the show.
Amy Whalen is a lawyer and devoted wife of former LAPD cop turned writer Jack Whalen. When they relocate to rural Washington state to restart a new life, suddenly life takes a turn for the worst. With Amy’s sudden disappearances and erratic behavior, not only is her marriage in danger, but something even deeper — her soul. Jack must search for the key to the paranormal forces behind the “new Amy” before it is too late.
Intruders is a creepy new sci-fi thriller premiering on BBC America this Saturday (10/9C), following the season eight premiere of Doctor Who. It takes a couple of cool ideas immortality and body snatchers and works them into something dark and twisted. It also introduces the newest creepiest little girl in the world. So there’s that.

Intruders, a series about a secret society’s pursuit of immortality, has begun production in Vancouver, British Columbia. The BBC America original series stars John Simm (Doctor Who, Life on Mars) and Oscar®-winner Mira Sorvino. The series was created by Glen Morgan (The X-Files), based on the novel by Michael Marshall Smith.
Other cast members include James Frain (True Blood, Grimm), Tory Littles (True Detective and relative newcomer ‘’Millie Brown (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland). The Intruders premiere date is to be determined. For more details and a series description, follow the jump to the press release.
BBC America has ordered the new original scripted series Intruders – which follows a secret society devoted to becoming immortal by seeking refuge in the bodies of others. The series comes from Glen Wong, of The X-Files fame, who pwrote the script based on the Michael Marshall Smith novel.
The eight-episode series, executive produced by Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner, is set to begin production in 2014 and will be distributed globally by BBC Worldwide. Check out the press release after the jump.
