The last of the Directors Guild of America’s DGA Awards nominations were unveiled today. Once again, network television was shut out. Homeland directors were nominated for two episodes, Game of Thrones one and House of Cards one.

The season three trailer includes all kinds of goodies – lots of gunplay; grand jury testimonies; Carrie in cuffs; Saul apologizing; Brody rocking a Heisenberg look alone in a partly destroyed room, and a lot more. TNT Orders Legends!


TNT has greenlit the Sean Bean vehicle Legends – a spy drama based on the novel The Company, by Robert Littell. Bean stars as Martin Odum,an undercover agent working for FBI’s D.C.O. (Deep Cover Operations) who is known for his ability to become a completely different person for each assignment. Legends’ cast also includes Ali Larter, Rob Mayes, Tina Majorino, Steve Harris, Amber Valletta and Lux Haney Jardine.

The series is executive produced by Homeland producers Howard Gordon and Alexander Cary, Jonathan Levin of Charmed and showrunners/creators Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris who created Sleeper Cell. TNT has order ten episodes of Legends and it is set to premiere in 2014. follow the jump for more details.

The 71st Annual Peabody Awards: The Complete List of Winners!

The winners of the 71st Annual Peabody Awards – possibly the most prestigious awards for television, radio and online programming – have been announced and it should probably come as no surprise that HBO’s Game of Thrones and Treme, PBS’ Austin City Limits, Showtime’s Homeland and syndicated game show Jeopardy were among them.
