HISTORY’s VIKINGS hits the ground at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with complimentary rides in a VIKINGS-branded Long Ship. Fans will be treated to special VIKINGS rides as the custom ship makes its way through the heart of San Diego on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11. While on board, fans will be gifted a VIKINGS drinking horn (a returning fan favorite from last year’s Comic-Con!), which gives them access to drink specials at select bars throughout the Gaslamp Quarter throughout the weekend.

Probably the only reason to watch The History Channel’s new reality series, Ax Men [Sundays, 10/9C] is because of that same part of the psyche that makes some people slow down to get a really good look at a car accident. Beyond the possibility of seeing someone maimed or killed, however, the series is a bleak, ponderous and not particularly interesting piece of work.
