With only three episodes in its run, after tonight, Grimm (NBC, Fridays, 10/9C) weaves mythology and a tender story of love and compassion to set up the series’ no doubt cataclysmic finale.
Blood Magic opens with a Wesen murder and a confused old woman in a nursing home, follows Eve as she researches ways to step through a mirror into the world of the thing that has threatened her in previous episodes.
When Grimm returns for its sixth season, it will be the beginning of the end – hopefully one with a ‘happily ever after’ in it.
NBC has announced that the show’s sixth season will be be its last.
Grimm will finish its run dealing with the global threat of the Wesen Black Claw movement. The final season will premiere on Friday, January 6th, 2017 (8/7C) ‘with the battle fans have been waiting for – Nick vs, Captain Renard.’ Follow the jump for more.
Things just keep getting more ‘interesting’ on Grimm (NBC, Fridays, 9/8C). If it’s not Captain Renard running for mayor – backed by Black Claw, it’s Wu turning into some kind of wolfman; if it’s not Black Claw kidnapping children, it’s Adalind finally having ‘the talk’ with Nick.
With the show’s fifth season tearing through its final few episodes, the stakes are becoming higher with every passing moment.
NBC’s Friday night frightfest, Grimm, has been renewed for a sixth season – making possible that the cult hit’s current storyline – a war brewing between Wesen (creatures that inspired mythologies and fairytales) faction Black Claw and an oblivious humanity – could become even more epic.
