Warners’ Dark Shadows Reboot Gathers Steam!

eva-green Tim Burton johnny-depp

The long in gestation Dark Shadows reboot at Warner Brothers is really moving along. Today it was announced that Eva Green [Casino Royale, Camelot] is in negotiations to play the role of Angelique, the witch whose love/hate relationship with Barnabas Collins [Johnny Depp] was a key in the original supernatural soap.

Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcote are in negotiations to play the roles of Willie Loomis and Victoria Winters.

If negotiations are concluded quickly, the Tim Burton film – scripted by Seth Grahame-Smith of Pride and Prejudice and Vampires fame – could go before the cameras by late spring.
