Halo Gets Ongoing Series At Dark Horse!

There may or may not ever be a Halo movie, but Dark Horse announced an ongoing comics series, Halo: Escalation, to begin later this year. The new series, which will follow the events of the Halo 4 videogame, will be written by Halo 4 lead writer Chris Schlerg with interior art for the first three issues by Omar Francia and covers by Anthony Palumbo.

Kodansha Announces Three New Series, The Return of XXXholic and Tsubasa!

Kodansha has announces the return of CLAMP’s XXXholic in a new series, XXXholic: Rei, to debut in late 2013, and as a series of 3-in-1 omnibus volumes beginning in March 2014 Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles Omnibus (above right) will collect the series in 3-in-1 volumes beginning in August, 2014.

The company also announces three new series: My Little Monster, Say I Love You and Monster Soul (Above left) – to be released over March, April and May of 2014.

Comic-Con 2013: Psych-Os Choose A Nightmare On State Street; Psych The Musical Is A Go!

When the cast and creator of USA Network’s Psych asked its fans (Psych-Os) to choose one of three proposed storylines for an episode in season eight, they responded overwhelmingly in favor of A Nightmare on State Street – over 50% of the voters chose the storyline that features series co-lead Dule’ Hill’s Gus seeking dream therapy to understand the cause of his night terrors. The episode will be directed by series co-lead James Roday, who plays fake psychic detective Shawn.
