Steve-Niles

This evening Chiller presents its first original movie, Steve Niles’ Remains [10/9C] which takes an intriguing, fun and, yes, chilling look at the whole idea of a zombie apocalypse.

Syfy’s sister network, Chiller has chosen an adaptation of Steve Niles’ original graphic novel Remains [Friday, 10/9C] as its first original movie. It’s a nifty take on the zombie apocalypse genre with a unique point of view and brisk, witty execution.

NBC Universal’s recently launched cable channel Chiller is making Thanksgiving a little bloodier with its Forever Knight Marathon airing on the evenings of Tuesday, November 24th and Wednesday, November 25th beginning at 8/7C.

season1-cast1

Forever Knight, which premiered in 1992, was re-tooled from a 1989 made-for-TV movie, Nick Knight, starring Rick Springfield. The re-tooled version starred Geraint Wyn Davies as Knight, an 800-year old vampire who sought to redeem his earlier, evil acts by becoming a homicide detective. The series ran for three seasons.

The marathon will showcase star Davies’ favorite eps. He will also provide all-new interstitials, which will include behind-the-scenes dish, for the marathon.

Point Pleasant was a quirky little horror/fantasy series that was snuffed out too soon. Tomorrow, July 4th, beginning at 11/10C, Chiller will run the entire series – including the five episodes that were never aired. If you miss the fun because of Independence Day celebrations, but are too adrenalized from the day’s activities to get to sleep right away, the entire marathon will be rebroadcast beginning at midnight/11C. A complete listing of the episodes follows:
