Headed by Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), the cops of Chicago’s elite Intelligence Unit are willing to break heads to break cases. Coloring outside the lines – doing what he’s got to do to get the job done. That’s the mantra of Chicago P.D.’s Voight. As Beghe says, “he’s a very good cop, but he’s more of a stick than a carrot kind of guy.”
A first look clip and relevant social media links follow the jump. Chicago P.D. premieres Wednesday, January 8 at 10/9c after Law & Order: SVU.
NBC’s late week schedule is getting a makeover. Weak remake Ironside and half-hour comedy Welcome to the Family are gone – while the Chicago Fire spin-off, Chicago PD, and Community will premiere in January. Also in January, Parks and Recreation will change timeslots.
Just in time for Christmas, Kelly Clarkson will learn the meaning of Christmas and Michael Buble will host a Christmas special in which, presumably, he’ll sing. Also on deck are SNL specials for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. For details and an updated schedule, follow the jump to the press release.
