I love me some Call of Duty! I think it’s one of the few game franchises where I beat every single player campaign since the beginning. Batman Arkham series is the only other franchise that holds that personal milestone. I’m not to enamored with the idea of COD in space, but Modern Warfare: Remastered? Hell Yeah. I want.
PS4 fans who pre-ordered the deluxe edition can now play a remastered Modern Warfare Level now, a full month ahead of everyone else. Meaning all you snot nosed brats will once again be fully leveled up before the rest of us mere mortals. I wish they’d bring back Nazi’s. Can we have Nazi’s in space, or Time Travel COD?

I never thought I’d utter the words “Zombies In Space,” but the folks at Activision have managed to bring us Zombies In Space in this fall’s upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite War trailer. I know people love to crap on the COD series but it is still my favorite shooter of all time and other than last year’s installment one of the few franchises (maybe the only one – after Batman Arkham) that I actually beat every campaign.
I really wish they’d bring back my Nazi’s, I hate the modern warfare villains. But hey, we have Zombies in Space! Check out the trailer. They get bonus points for using a little Frankie Goes To Hollywood!

Yes, unlike you cool hipster gamers I still get excited for new COD every year. Take a gander at a couple of brand new COD Black Ops III trailers including the brand new launch trailer and a gameplay trailer.

It’s almost here folks. One of my favorite video game franchises. The Call of Duty series is the only game franchise that I actually beat every year – well, except the buggy mess known as Black Ops II. Kevin Spacey joins the COD Crew in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This time out we’re in a future devastated by a global attack. With the most powerful military force in the world, Atlas has effectively become a superpower for hire. Suit up in an advanced exoskeleton and join a highly-trained unit committed to restoring order. I miss killing Nazis…. Here is the final launch trailer, along with other footage from the game. It hits the streets Nov 4th! If you buy the digital version, you’ll get a free upgrade to the PS4 or Xbox One version – I wish all games did this.

The last Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC is now available on the PS3. I’m usually skeptical about DLC Season passes but you have to give Activision and the COD team mad props for providing plenty of replay value on the COD series and keeping up their promise of regular updates. In case you missed my post when the 360 version of this came out a few weeks ago. The epic season of Downloadable Content (DLC) culminates with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse for PlayStation®3 and PC fans. The fourth and final DLC Pack from Activision and its award-winning studio Treyarch lets players dig into four thrilling and diverse multiplayer maps, as well as Origins – the all-new, wildly creative Zombies experience that reunites players with the original heroes from Call of Duty®: World at War, and closes this chapter of the Zombies story arch for Call of Duty®: Black Ops II.

Normally, I’m very skeptical of season passes, but Activision has really rocked the COD ones, with new updates almost every two months. The highly-anticipated conclusion to the Call of Duty Season Pass has arrived! Award-winning Treyarch and Activision Publishing cap off an epic season of Call of Duty®: Black Ops II downloadable content (DLC) with Apocalypse, availablenow on the Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft. The game’s fourth and final DLC Pack delivers four thrilling and diverse multiplayer maps, as well as “Origins” – the all-new, wildly creative Zombies experience that reunites players with the original heroes going back to Call of Duty®: World at War, and closes this chapter of the Zombies story arch for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The first set of new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Maps didn’t solve our severe case of Mapathy, so the Doctors at Activision have given us an appointment for June 3rd to give us another shot in the arm with a brand new set of Maps with The Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Resurgence Pack. Featuring five maps, the Resurgence Pack follows on the heels of the record-setting Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Stimulus Package of maps. Additionally, to celebrate the upcoming release, Infinity Ward will host two Double XP weekends. The first Double XP will take place beginning Friday, May 28, and the second will follow on Friday, June 4. The last pack just came out, so this is a fast turnaround.
To help combat recent trends suggesting that America’s veterans are struggling in the face of unemployment, Activision Blizzard, Inc., a worldwide online, PC and console video game publisher and publisher of the best-selling “Call of Duty” video game franchise, has established the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE). This nonprofit public benefit corporation will focus its resources on assisting organizations that provide job placement and training to veterans, as well as engaging the media and public forums to raise awareness about the issue.

The weather outside isn’t frightful (yet). And there shouldn’t be any delightful fires in your chimney. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start thinking about the holidays, when anticipated video games end up on wish lists and – hopefully – in stockings or under trees. Since you are so busy deciding who was naughty or nice this year, Activision made your shopping list easy by teasing seven titles sure to please any hardcore gamer. A few are out. Others are on the horizon. But all seven deserve a peek, and maybe a purchase.

It’s finally here, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 full trailer and it’s very tasty. I’m not sure what is supposed to be gameplay or
or CGI cut scenes.
It’s almost time for me to go back to War. Oh, the stories I can tell about my experience using modern weapons to take out some middle eastern despot. Or the time I had to make it through a village without being spotted. Or the time I thought I rescued that downed chopper pilot and got nuked instead. Good times, good times. My favorite game from last year, Call of Duty is returning this fall. Boot camp will soon take on a new meaning, as Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and developer Treyarch, have confirmed plans for Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer betas in October for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and separately for download on Windows PC. These betas will serve as an early chance for players to practice the tactics needed for survival in the intense chaos of Call of Duty: World at War’s Pacific and European theaters. Players will experience the game’s new squad system, as well as fan favorite perks and kill streaks. All preparation for the full battle will commence on November 11, 2008 when Call of Duty: World at War is released to retailers nationwide. “We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community,” says Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. “The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can’t wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch.”
