We’re still three days and a bit out from the series premiere of Ash vs. Evil Dead but Starz has seen fit to give the series a second season order today. The early renewal comes as rave reviews from sources like Deadline.com, TV Guide and IGN pour in.

With every little morsel of new material released, I find myself more and more enthused about Starz’s new Evil Dead sequel series, Ash vs. Evil Dead. The early art, photos and teaser trailer all suggested that everyone involved is in fine form (girdle notwithstanding).

Starz will be hosting panels for its breakout hit Outlander and much anticipated Ash vs. Evil Dead at Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego.
The Ash vs. Evil Dead panel will take place in Room 6A in the San Diego Convention Center on Friday, July 10th at 6:00 pm. Panelists will include Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless.
The Outlander panel will take place in Ballroom 20 on Friday, July 12th at 4:00 pm. Panelists will include Ronald D. Moore, Diana Gabaldon, Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan.
