On November 27th (8/7C), FOX will air the two-hour special, The Great American Dog-a-thon. Executive produced and co-hosted by Hilary Swank this celebration of man’s best friend will be focused on the joy a recue pet can bring into our lives.
Some of the celebrities taking part include Betty White, Josh Duhamel, Fergie, Miranda Lambert, Kristen Bell and Kesha.
The Lorax is an unsubtle eco-fable that features engaging characters, brilliant 3D and a world that looks suspiciously like that of Despicable Me [it’s from the same creative team]. It’s true to the spirit of Dr. Seuss and just plain spirited.
Forget everything you thought you knew about the older generation. “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” takes senior stereotypes and blows them out of the water with a cast of sassy septuagenarians who are hip, sexy and ready to party! America’s favorite comedy sweetheart sends a fearless band of senior citizens to the streets to pull shockingly hilarious pranks on the younger generation in “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” an outrageously funny “hidden camera” show unlike anything viewers have ever seen. White, a seven-time Emmy Award winner, will star and executive produce the series, adapted from the hitBelgiumseries “Benidorm Bastards.” “People have been telling me that I’m ‘off my rocker’ for years,” says White. “Now I can prove it!”

Marni Olive Olsen [the middle name is critically important] takes a few days off from the prestigious PR firm where she’s just been made a VP in order to attend her brother’s wedding. When she gets home, she discovers his fiancée is the head cheerleader who made her life a living hell in high school. Hilarity was intended to ensue.
Yes, that’s right! On May 8, 2010, the First Lady of Television [60 years on TV!], Betty White makes her long overdue first appearance as guest host on Saturday Night Live!
Best known as the perennially innocent Rose Nylund on Golden Girls and the scheming Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, White most recently stole The Proposal out from under Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds whenever she was onscreen.
Although it is not known what sketches the show’s writers will create for her, I, personally, hope at least one addresses her many game show appearances [where she showed herself to be a remarkable improviser] and another gives us a Rose Nylund who is closer to her off screen, ribald self.
