America Horror Story: Asylum: Dylan McDermott On Playing The Son of Bloodyface!

01

The day after the last episode of American Horror Story: Asylum (FX, Wednesdays, 10/9C) before the holiday hiatus, Dylan McDermott spoke with a group of bloggers/journalists about returning in the show’s second season as the son of Zachary Quinto’s Bloodyface character – now a serial killer just like his father.

The series returns this evening.

American Horror Story: Asylum’s Jessica Lange Talks Sister Jude, How She Works and Collaborating with Ryan Murphy!

Over the course of her career, Jessica Lange has done it all – good girls, bad girls, mad girls, brave girls, scared girls, women who have displayed every emotional shade one can imagine. On American Horror Story: Asylum (FX, Wednesdays, 10/9C), she plays Sister Jude – a character with an unusual past, more unusual present and a potentially harrowing future (though with Ryan Murphy, you can never tell).

On Friday, she spoke with a number of journalists/bloggers about the course Sister Jude has taken over the series’ second season/storyline – as well as how she works and what one of her favorite scenes has been, this season. She also spoke, with some enthusiasm, about collaborating with Ryan Murphy. That enthusiasm is contagious and it’s easy to see how much she is enjoying her sojourn on American Horror Story.

American Horror Story: Asylum’s Chloë Sevingy Gets Intense!

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM -- (Pictured: Chloe Sevigny as Shelley -- CR: Frank Ockenfels/FX

The second season of American Horror Story: Asylum (FX, Wednesdays, 10/9C) has, if possible, an even more impressive cast than season one – including chameleonic actor Chloë Sevingy as Shelley, a woman who has been committed by her husband for being a ‘nymphomaniac.’

Late last week, Sevigny spent almost an hour on a conference call with a group of journalists/bloggers talking about the challenges of shooting AHS:A and dropping some very intriguing hints about what lies in store for poor Shelley.

American Horror Story: Asylum–And The Weirdness Just Keeps On Coming!

The promotional spots for American Horror Story: Asylum may not be playing on jump moments, speciffically, but they continue to be creatively creepy. Both the above and a spot called Veiled (watch it after the jump), do a great juob of creating intrigue.

American Horror Story: Asylum premieres on FX on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10/9C.

American Horror Story: Asylum = Creepy Nuns!

AHS S2 Key Art 1

Continuing on its merry, bloody path, FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum has spawned (and that is definitely the right word for it) some very creepy promo art. This nun weeping black tears is the least unsettling of the lot (my favorite is the nun walking through the woods – though the staircase is pretty unsettling, too). Three more photos follow the jump.

American Horror Story: Asylum premieres on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012.

American Horror Story: Asylum Asks Its Audience To Get Committed!

americanhorrorstoryseason2poster

FX’s unusual hit, American Horror Story (returning Wednesday, October 17th, 10/9C), has had an unexpected imact with its twisted storytelling and first-rate cast. Season two, which is set in an insane asylum (or, as we would now call it, a mental health facility), features many many of the first season cast – Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto and Sara Paulsen among others – has spawned a set of promotional videos that may even be creepier than those for season one.

To be genuinely unsettled, check out a few of them following the jump.
