Syfy’s attempt to catch silly lightning in a bottle one more time has cast a number of well-known folks in some intriguing – and occasionally appropriate roles. For sheer obviousness, though, none is more on point than Judd Hirsch being cast as Ben, a New York city cabbie.

Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander, Mark McGrath and Vivica A. Fox are also joining the cast. For more details, check out the press release after the jump.
