One of the most intriguing and entertaining albums of the last few years was 2009’s N.A.S.A.’s The Spirit of Apollo, music by the most unlikely (and yet perfect) collection of collaborators – like Tom Waits and Cool Keith (as one remarkable example). iArtists

iAlbums is a free music streaming site that gives you a new way to explore music. Not only is it the largest free music streaming site around – with over 11 million tracks by 2.6 million artists (I’m listening to No More Shall We Part by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds as I write this), it also does things no other site does, like giving you the music that influenced your favorite artists – while also giving your the latest news, reviews and related information about those artists. The folks behind the site say you can think of iAlbums as a kind of ‘Pinterest for music.’
